I can write all day about physical keys. They provide some real good protection. The article also mentions something important….. a back-up.
I use my 2FA on any and every sensitive account possible. Most of them provide a back-up method if your primary key is lost or breaks. Many time it’s the Authenticator App or SMS, or something. There are many that offer you some one-time codes that work.
Whatever and however you pursue your 2FA/MFA journey, make sure you review your options, as being locked out of your accounts is painful.
